Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had my period two months ago. Although I had unprotected sex afterward, I have not seen my period since then. I have done blood and urine tests, but they brought out negative results. I also had a scan, but nothing is showing. I took antibiotics for the same complaint. Please help me.

Hello,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern.

This may be due to a mild pelvic inflammatory response, anemia, thyroid problems, or stress. You need to take the following tests:

  1. Thyroid profile.
  2. Pap smear of vaginal discharge for microbiology and others like cervicitis.
  3. Urine routine and culture test.
  4. Hemoglobin (Hb) level and peripheral smear study.
  5. Fasting and postprandial blood sugar levels.

These tests will help narrow down your problem. If it is not possible to do the tests, we can consider inducing a menstrual period with drugs. Kindly contact me for further discussion and treatment advice, as well as the prescription of drugs.

I hope this has helped you. Please feel free to reach me again, in case of further queries.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
