Is it safe to travel by flight when diagnosed with a low-lying placenta?

Hi doctor,

I have a low-lying placenta covering the complete os as observed in my 13th-week NT (nuchal translucency) scan. Due to this, my doctor advised me not to travel. However, I have to travel by flight for 15 hours next month (by then I will have my level two scan). So, what are the chances that my placenta will move up by the 20th week? And if not, can I still travel by flight with some medication?

Please help.

What are the signs of getting a heart attack?

Hi doctor,

I worry about the possibility of a heart attack as a cardiac patient living in the Western world. I stay alone, and my kids live in a nearby country. I had a heart attack 10 years ago, and I have been living on Aspirin and have had no complaints so far. Now that I am alone, I am worried. Could you please elaborate on the symptoms and warning signals of a heart attack?

Thank you.

How to deal with insomnia due to stress?

Hello doctor,

I have been having trouble sleeping lately, which might be due to all the stress I have been dealing with at work. It is like my mind just will not shut off, and I end up tossing and turning all night. I am starting to worry about how this lack of sleep is affecting my mental health. Can you explain how insomnia and sleep disorders like this can impact mental well-being, especially when it is related to work stress? I have tried a few things to help me sleep better, like cutting back on caffeine and establishing a bedtime routine, but nothing seems to be working. Are there any other strategies or treatments you would recommend for someone dealing with insomnia caused by stress?

Thank you.
